An educational center for children and adults in a rural area of Rwanda, deprived of such facilities.

The center sits right by a hydroelectric power plant providing clean energy for the area's inhabitants. It is conceived as part of the local forest, the shades it creates and the way one moves in between the trees.

The external envelope is built with trees cut in order to make place for the head race canal, the walls with local clay and wood, and the ground slab with cement mixed with local shiny quartz rocks.
