Maya Utz'iil is a cultural center initiated by and built for LEMA, a women's cooperative that creates local textile and garments.

We designed a center with multiple pavilions, sprouting out of the tropical vegetation.

The Eco toilet aims at providing the users with a 'natural experience'. Its' walls, made with rotating bamboo panels can be fully opened, and the user can immerse in the tropical sights, air, and light surrounding it.
