Maya Utz'iil is a cultural center initiated by and built for LEMA, a women's cooperative that creates local textile and garments.

We designed a center with multiple pavilions, sprouting out of the tropical vegetation.

The Tea House is a structure built with locally sourced materials (timber, bamboo and stones) that hosts cultural activities and enables communal cooking and dining.
